Unlike many similarly bucolic Tuscan rentals, which, while prettily furnished, tend to be "light" on equipment and accessories, we don't scrimp on the details. Our lodgings are prepared as if we were staying there ourselves (in the off season, we sometimes do). Numerous touches lend Poggiosole an air of understated luxury, placing our guests' needs at the center of an experience rooted in the beauty of the surrounding land.

 

Start with mid-century furniture and lighting from Vitra, Cassina, Artemide, Fratelli Tagliabue, FLOS, kreon, Tecnolumen, Normann Copenhagen, UNOPIÙ, Stokke, and MUJI. Add a Dyson Supersonic in each bathroom, Anker Qi chargers on each bedside table, audio gizmos from B&O and Cambridge Audio to stream your favorite tunes, Chromecast-enabled Smart TVs for staying in when it rains and Led Lenser flashlights for venturing out after dark. In the kitchen you'll find Alessi cookware, Wüsthof knives, Ginori dinnerware, a Lavazza espresso machine (with compostable capsules), Dualit toaster, Bosch mixer, Vitamix blender and, just outside your lodging, a Weber BBQ grill. Out by our salt-chlorinated pool (May thru Oct), practice your topspin on our not-so-little Cornilleau ping-pong table.
